I actively try tp connect the dots between what I do and the collective aim, always considering the bigger picture. In meetings, I'm the one asking how our projects align with our overarching objectives, so I can better understand how each task moves us forward. I try to take ownership by regularly checking in with my manager and colleagues, getting their perspectives to refine my understanding. I try to look for the 'why' behind every 'what,'.

Here are things I found that helped me and considering that listed in thinking beyond your role. Know the people working in the areas your objective improves, touches, affects, follows and controls as well as audits. Plan little meeting with each and all. As a young boy, I often thought, what's the point of teaching if I have to go and fail at it first? If I fail at it, I don't need you to teach. Teaching is to avoid failure.

This helps us understand and justify our decisions comprehensively. If we are unable to justify our decisions from an opposing perspective, it indicates that the decision may not be well-founded. In such cases, it is better to reconsider and refine the decision to ensure it is robust and justified.So, It is always essential to FORESEE the complex situations that may arise.

In my experience, being proactive or anticipating problems is should be a core of any business or professional. How to do that? One tactic is to measure, what to measure, time spent, steps to complete a process, errors, wins, and most importantly answer the most powerful question. WHY did that happen. When you measure what you do, you will gather insights that will give you enough power for decision-making. AND KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
