As an Administrator, I believe in having multiple computers or isolating the system with a virtual machine when working with unknown data/sites/files. I personally have five to administer client systems. Three laptops and two desktops, plus some VM's. One Laptop with business apps and personal data to manage day-to-day task, settings on high. One to connect to client systems with no personal data just tools and virus/malware security to troubleshoot. Por experiencia se que el cortafuegos es la mejor herramienta para protegerte de algunos problemas de seguridad. Y hay que tener cuidado debido a que en ocaciones resulta mas facil desactivarlo que intentar agregar a exepciones algunos programas, aplicaciones o sitios web. Como encargado de sistemas he revisado servidores con el firewall y el antivirus desactivado. Lo mejor que recomiendo es tener paciencia y agregar las configuraciones necesarias.

Probando diferentes antivirus y por comentarios de las mismas empresas de antivirus recomiendan utilizar windows defender que algun otro antivirus gratuito.

While the additional security is great, most business apps are always playing catchup. Causing more harm than good. End-users and Administrators start blocking updates and are trying to patch or revert the changes as the business apps are broken and the business is suffering. The equivalent of removing gas stations pumps and installing charge cables, and now people are looking to make their own fuel, until they can afford a electric car, risking damaging their car or blowing something up. Google/MS/Software vendors need to spent their efforts on closing their leaky software.

Some of the features are great, like core isolation, however, encryption and secure boot are problematic. For business purposes encryption and secure boot can be great if they are coupled with cloud storage. Under own...? No.. They cause much grief, I have had so many calls from people locking themselves out of their systems it's not funny, just because windows suggested it. From devices becoming bricks, to sensitive data being lost. Security and safety should not cause people to cry and beg on their knees asking you to assist them, in getting access to their device and or data.
