1 What is MPLS VPN?

MPLS stands for Multiprotocol Label Switching, a technology that uses labels to route packets across a network. A VPN is a Virtual Private Network, a secure and isolated connection between two or more endpoints. MPLS VPNs combine these two concepts to create virtual private networks over a shared MPLS network.
