1 IIS Manager

IIS Manager is a graphical user interface (GUI) tool that lets you access and modify IIS settings and parameters. You can use IIS Manager to create and manage websites, web applications, application pools, virtual directories, and more. IIS can be fine-tuned to optimize the network. As per application needs, one need to adjust application pool settings for memory usage and worker processes. We need to enable caching for frequently accessed content so as to reduce server load and speeding up delivery. Further turning on compression to shrink data size, saving bandwidth and improving page load times. Finally, disable unused IIS features and enable strong encryption (SSL) to tighten the network's security.
