I agree with these points and I would like to add this. Spatial contrast is also an important aspect of creating contrast. By varying the amount of space between elements in a composition to help create focus, hierarchy, and flow by directing the viewer’s eye to important elements.

Along with the rule of thirds, using contrast in size and color is important for visual hierarchy. This helps guide the user's eye across the page, helping them understand the important information first. This will allow the designer to develop a more balanced and visually appealing composition.

Motion contrast Harness the power of motion to establish contrast and hierarchy. Play around with variations of speed, direction, and intensity of motion to captivate the viewer's attention and generate visual intrigue. Using smooth and deliberate motion for crucial elements, while incorporating fast-paced or dynamic motion for secondary elements, you will be able to create a distinct sense of hierarchy and encourage engagement.

That means size and weight. Or size and direction (italic for example). Or different family and size. Size is one of the easiest ways to indicate a type hierarchy. But size alone is not sufficient. Also remember that ease of readability is essential for getting a message across quickly. That means with text longer than 2 or 3 words that you must use lowercase not capitals. So capitals can only be used for a few signpost headings. Other contrasts must be used.
