Another thought: png files are wonderful for use on the internet since they are compressed into smaller files. The resolution of this type of file (72dpi) is not suitable for print. Depending on the process, dpi requirements will be 200-300 dpi for printable artwork at 100 percent for offset or web presses.

Just a simple note here. Always allocate more time than you may potentially require to export artwork/ files/ projects. You will be surprised at how much stress that can be added on in the final stages of file formatting and exporting (especially when the deadline is looming).
