One of the ways that work for us is by building and maintaining a high level of transparency and ensuring that all team members are part and parcel of the conversations, almost at all levels and across departments. I agree with the above. However, I do believe that being transparent while you communicate will enhance the relationship between the team members. I have learned that based on the employee personality we can do this in public or in private. Both work and also help to indirectly challenge the rest of the team.

For example last week I wrote about FOPO. I basically try to empower all to do things driven by sisu. I share book titles and sometimes even buy books for the team so they can use it as reference. We all have to have the discipline to become great by learning and practicing what we believe is right for us and the organization that we represent.

The Growth Mindset if you're not familiar is exemplified by the word "yet." As in saying "I can't do that, yet" versus simply saying, "I can't do that." Keeping an open mind to learning new things, learning new ways to do things you already know and realizing that you don't have to get everything right, all of the time, is a liberating feeling, and a crucial mindset for marketers to embrace.
