This applies mostly to group onboarding of fresh hires - either new to the industry, or being re-qualified due to restructuring - as the same format, content and delivery apply to all for acquainting them with the new role, the regulations, main stakeholders, processes and dependencies. In such cases, active and interactive learning strategies are key to retain both attention and new knowledge. When related to an effective development program of skilled professionals, this has to be personalized and mainly via on-the-job learning. Partial involvement in the intended new role responsibilities is indispensable - under supervision, of course, but with clear challenges and even clearer empowerment framework for them to stretch and ... shine.

Understand the needs and diversity of your employees learning types, whether that be auditory, visual or any other aspect of the individuals requirement to effectively utilise the training. Be open to being flexible with your approach and fundamentally remember you aren't dictating to them, you are guiding them.

Por experiencia en los diez a?os que llevo impartiendo formaciones in company: Es fundamental involucrar al equipo en todo el proceso, como preguntar sobre sus necesidades, elegir el tipo de formación, el formato, las fechas, horario (a ser posible dentro de la jornada laboral)... Si no son ellos mismos conscientes de las necesidades formativas, si se invade su horario personal, si no se les involucra,...estarán menos receptivos y la formación no será tan efectiva como debería.
