In general, Risk assessment is identifying, analyze, mitigate protentional risks and hazards by conducting risk assessment. The first step to assess our risks which is a systematic process performed by an experience team, which involve identifying, analysing, controlling hazards and risks. Risk assess is one of important component of a risk analysis, which is a process of multiple steps, such as checklists, surveys, interviews, meetings and audits

Regular driver training, advanced safety tech, telematics analysis, and a safety-focused culture contribute to continuous safety improvement in fleet operations.

1.Training of every crew member and frequent visits by experts to create safety and operational awareness among crew. 2.Incentives and appreciation. 3.Handing over more responsibilities about safety to junior crew members by encouraging them to participate in safety matters/meetings.

Believe a lot of mitigation steps raised/ provided by the management to improve on safety aspects is by being reactive to safety incidents data. Senior management must from time to time check what the ground reality is by working close on the field with the personnel involved to see what the challenges are and work on improving remediation over the mitigation aspects.

Drivers training is most important element in ensuring safety on fleet operations. Other things such as vehicles maintenance, route optimisation etc can be checked before on roading the vehicles.However you never know when anything bad may happen with the driver e.g unstable health conditions, anger due to last night fight with wife/low salary, stress due to excessive driving ,non serious and careless behaviour of a person etc. In order to cope up with the above problems first thing is to make the recruitment process very transparent and strict so that best lot got hired. Second is frequent training and meet up sessions with the drivers to train them and understand their problems. Third is pay them right. Lastly medical check up of drivers.
