1 Know your audience

No geral falar sobre política é algo que sempre vai gerar polêmica, mas é possível produzir conteúdo sobre o tema utilizando linguagem simples e criativa para prender a aten??o da sua audiência. Observando a minha experiência percebo que o público se conecta com um conteúdo que traga exemplos palpáveis e do nosso cotidiano, sem utilizar termos técnico ou conceitos que n?o estejam traduzidos para o português. Ao longo do processo você vai entendendo como o seu público vai se comportar com o seu conteúdo, utilizar em alguns momentos o humor também é uma boa ferramenta.

It is not always obvious that policy issues will be positive. Most often than not, the effectiveness of communicating policy issues hinges on understanding the needs of your target audience and using simple language to explain the benefits of the policy. Always ask: How will the policy affect livelihoods of communities? Does the policy pose any potential negative implications? These as just some of the many questions that can help you simplify policy issues to be easily understood and to realize progressive social change.

4 Provide evidence

To persuade your audience that your solution is feasible and effective, you need to provide evidence that supports it. What are the facts, data, or research that back up your claims? How do you know that your solution will work and what are the expected outcomes? Use credible and relevant sources to present your evidence and cite them properly. Avoid using too many numbers, charts, or graphs that may overwhelm your audience.

5 Appeal to emotions

While evidence is important, it is not enough to convince your audience to care about your issue and support your solution. You also need to appeal to their emotions and values. How does your issue affect their lives, their communities, or their future? How does your solution align with their beliefs, hopes, or fears? Il faut éviter le plus possible de faire entrer en ligne de compte, l’affect, surtout lorsque l’on s’adresse à des non initiés, car l’effet attendu peut-être aussi tragique que ce que l’on essaye de démontrer, ne serait-ce que déjà à travers un discours élaboré. à mon sens, l’émotion, c’est la futilité et la volatilité de toute la profondeur, de l’action politique, principalement lorsque celle-ci s’exprime en période de tensions et de crise.

Le plus important dans toute communication politique, c’est avant tout de ne pas ??mentir??par omission ou en raison d’intérêts politiques adverses à ses interlocuteurs. D’autre part, il faut penser que les personnes auxquelles on s’adresse, initiées ou profanes, peuvent ne pas posséder le même degré de connaissances que soi-même sur le sujet de communication prédéfini. Aussi, il est important de garder un vocabulaire accessible, qui ne fasse aucune utilisation du double sens ou de la double connotation, et qui fonctionne sur le mode de l’échange ouvert.
