One strategy I would use BEFORE I share ideas with the boss is I would make it a habit to teach something new to the boss ?? For example, I would say, “Did you know…” and I would share a fact or news that my boss never knew. Once I’ve establish that connection and trust, I would share my ideas on something I was working on later in the day or later in the week. Because of this strategy, I would face less resistance or sometimes none at all! ??
