While these ideas could work in a larger population, rural south Texas has a different demographic makeup. Few here eat organic because they assume they will pay more. We base our costs on the fact that although we grow using organic principles, we are not certified so we can keep our prices competitive. This is very true. There are people here that before we arrived, claimed to be organic but were not. You have to show, we used facebook, along with inviting them out and let them see what a garden hoe is used for! ??
