How can you build strong relationships with IMF colleagues?

It's important to understand the individual and the culture one belongs to, especially in a professional setting. Having a frank discussion to prevent overstepping any boundaries is always the best option. To achieve this, the human resources/internal communications team could organise gatherings periodically wherein team members could take a break from work and interact - fostering healthy interpersonal relations. Also, it is important to apprise the team of any new joiner by sharing a comprehensive email detailing the background, including professional achievements etc. So as to provide the team with an initial introduction which could help kickstart conversations. Thus encouraging better inclusion and flow of ideas.

When we do not discriminate on the basis of sex we promote inclusivity and reduce rivalry.
