Seeking different and diverse views for a common objective is so important. And with various levels of experience; this comes handy and relatively easy. Key is to exploit this given and utilize the depth of junior members and the width of experience of senior members

I think it is critical that individuals feel they are contributors and not just recipients in their organizations. Though we may have varied levels of experience, respecting and seeking the the mindset to question current status quo and norms from those inexperienced individuals is what yields the next level of advancement. We then leverage the experience to integrate the new ideas successfully.

One thing I have found helpful in Li-ion battery manufacturing was backward tracing to cell / component level. Many of the players were not having cell level tracking for their batteries. Until ICAT made it compulsory for L3 and L5 batteries. Cell level tracing is very important and should be done for all battery packs. It is not very difficult and not costly. This tracking would help in finding out the problems while doing RCA for irregularities in batteries and improve performance.

There cannot be enough said about the importance of communication in a team environment. Relaying information and help at the correct time is key. Along with communicating making sure all involved understand what is communicated is just as important. Following up with new and value added information on a consistent basis is key communication.

Delivering messages clearly and respectfully there is no room for misunderstandings , wich decrease pontetial for conflicts. Effective communication is a key factor to ensure team alignment and that all situations will be resolved in respectful manner.

Acredito que além de saber se comunicar é saber o tipo de linguagem a ser utilizada, buscando adapta-la a cada público, para que o entendimento seja realmente eficaz.

En lo personal me ha funcionado el tener apertura de ideas, escuchar a la gente, reconocer su experiencia, poner los objetivos y metas claras, hacer notar un estándar o principios de acción para establecer un punto de referencia con el tema en cuestión, evaluar y tener los pros y contras, según aplique, adicional siempre tener una comunicacion ordenada y clara con el equipo y/o staff. Esto aplica para juntas diarias, proyectos, revisión de métricas, etc

I have mentored many over my 18+ years of professional experience, and the one thing I learned was that by mentoring someone, you not only help them, but it also makes you relevant, which in turn will help you give your best. I myself have learned a lot from everyone I mentored, so it’s an organic professional relationship where learning and teaching happen both ways.

This will be one of the biggest offerings you could bring to your team! Being a positive and optimistic mentor to all around will bring everyone together. Making sure your team members are noticed and involved will help them contribute in an openly fashion. You may never know what your team members may have to offer if they are not involved. Throughout my career, I've found great value in both being mentored and mentoring others. This relationship really speeds up learning and helps to fill in gaps in knowledge and experience. This way, the mentee can quickly improve and start making a real impact in their field. Personally, my mentors have been crucial in guiding me, especially when I've faced tough decisions about projects, organizational issues, or managing people. Their advice has always been based on their own rich experiences, which has been incredibly insightful. I've also witnessed how mentorship can transform young professionals. Interestingly, I've learned a lot from my mentees too. It's been a rewarding journey on both sides of the mentor-mentee relationship.

In many instances people with different skills which got attained through years of experience in many different manufacturing environments have the ability to mentor effectively the members of their teams, while providing them with assurance of the correct route to be followed in order to reach their goals and praise them for their performance. Different people have different skills but an experience leader can make the most out of all by effectively coaching and mentoring their team members while utilizing their individual skills to the maximum.

On se rappelle que les relations professionnelles sont avant tout des relations humaines, je trouve toujours très gratifiant et porteur de connecter avec des gens de tous les niveaux et expertises. Sont à mon avis très limités les environnements qui présentent une hiérarchie trop rigide, qui restreint en quelque sorte l'accès aux employés au reseautage interne. Le développement de relations humaines et conviviales au travail a travers les événements sociaux et professionnels et le reseautage sont bénéfiques à la santé et au bien-etre au travail ainsi qu'à la productivité et à la collaboration/coopération.

Desde mi experiencia gestionando equipos de trabajo, he observado que en los entornos de trabajo con alta diversidad de personal; no solo en a?os de experiencia( Junior, senior, expertos), si no también en formación académica, dicha diversidad resulta ser el factor relevante y determinante de la excelencia. Si logramos engranar y manejar de manera asertiva dicha diversidad observaremos como poco a poco el equipo va logrando sus objetivos y creciendo como equipo e individualmente. Los Junior serán formados por los expertos y los expertos aprenderán de los Junior que traen un conocimiento más actual. Los equipos con alta diversidad logran visualizar los problemas desde diferentes puntos de vista; siendo ésta, la clave de la excelencia.

En lo largo de mi carrera profesional y de aprendizaje eh podido compartir con personas que hoy en dia considero muy importantes en mi crecimiento personal y profesional, ya que esta a través de su conocimiento y experiencia. In the union environment in steel manufacturing, we would share jobs with willing employees. Between management and labor both could learn quite a bit. Management wasn't always the most proficient in the job. We also conducted Job Analysis, step by step task description that everyone added to. This helped in new hires and on the job training.

One thing to remember is that manufacturing is truly a team sport! You have a common goal to produce another unit and your are challenged by quality problems, part shortages, maintenance issues and safety concerns. It takes diverse viewpoints and collaboration to overcome these daily challenges to produce the products that make our society run!!!
