If you are shy and doesn't like events make sure to take it as a task not as a hobby we often do plenty of things in our day which we have to do, to reach to a place we all wanted to be. Attend boring calls and meetings because we are connected to the end result and vision. So similarly to build a network this is something you have to do and take this as a task that you sure can complete.
