I always choose quality over efficiency. I prefer to work on high ticket projects than volume work. For volume, you can create a preset upon ingest to get the files partially to where you want them. You can also outsource your editing but make sure the result is consistent or it will hurt your branding. I have a certain style which I am repeatedly hired for. Your work, even your editing, becomes more valuable if its recognizable as standing apart from your competition in some way. If you're another natural light photographer who slaps a hipster filter on your images you will have to compete with hundreds, maybe thousands of photographers. If you create a quality custom look, it's only you who can be hired for it.
