" Work backwards and create content accordingly. Now there can be different type of social media content. For eg - Linkedin , Youtube, Instagram Reels. Whichever the platform is , it is important to follow the approach of the SMART framework (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) goals.

Simply, shift your mindset from scheduling posts to building quality. "Today, People focus only on how many times they are posting rather than how quality post it is." Agree?

Setting your SMART goals from the begining and then aligning these with the business' objective is key to make your social media marketing strategy work. You will then have to identify the goals for each platform and serve the user intent to get the most out of it.

Clearly define 3-4 goals. Is it brand awareness? More website traffic? Higher engagement? Once you know your destination, your route gets clearer. Remember, a goal-less strategy is like a rudderless ship, destined to float aimlessly. So, set reasonable goals, that have a timeframe and can be tracked. Be sure to track these monthly so you can adjust your strategy accordingly.

As part of your overall digital marketing planning, you have to know WHO you're trying to attract and WHERE they hang out. Then, match that up with your particular favorite method of messaging, audio? short form or long form video? or posting long insightful, and thoughtful posts? Each platform has a purpose - match up your messaging with the right platform where you're prospective clients are.

I posted that same 1 minute video to both YouTube and Instagram. On YouTube the video has less than 50 views. On Instagram it now has over 32,000 views. Based on this, I think the short form videos are better on Instagram.
