Deep critical thinking, professional advocacy, negotiation and diplomacy. All these skills will be needed. But I think the two most improtant skills are Self-awareness the abiltiy to hold a honest balanced view of ones on thoughts and actions. Secondly, Perspective-taking - the ability to be curious and inquisitive of other views whilst suspending judgement bias by our own lens.

Social Justice Skills are active, to assess they would need to be done in view of an attempt at addressing change. Perhaps through project to support a cause. I think one of the most important skills to assess and capture is how one thinks about addressing a social cause with others. Assess ability to inform, negotiate, reflect and critical identify where/how change can be progressed.

Moreover, engage students with social justice issues and movements that are relevant to them and their communities. From my perspective, one can develop social justice skills by having extensive knowledge about the cultures of the children/students that you interact with. One cannot relate to their students if they don't have an understanding of the struggles and adversities that the students are facing.

Social justice is a broad term, what might seem like Social justice to some might seem like Social harm to others, really defining the key principles is a useful excersise. Some starting places are areas such as international law, human rights, UN development goals to get a sense of Globally accepted baselines on how humans should engage with other.
