I would add, facilitate open communication between others who also teach your children, so that your eyes can be open to all of the content your students will receive. This will help you recognize opportunities for crossover & PBL learning moments that are application based & center the intersection of multiple disciplines.

Understand the specific learning outcomes, competencies, and skills essential for your students. Consider the challenges, opportunities, and available resources within your school or district. This contextual understanding unveils gaps, needs, and goals that your PBL curriculum can strategically address, ensuring alignment with overarching educational objectives and fostering a tailored, impactful learning experience.
