We all have felt online-meeting fatigue over the last few years. It is somehow considered less effective as an in-person/cohort-based models of learning and working. It is, however, a new norm now to leverage technology to virtually provide trainings and develop teams/students. A few things we can do to make it way more engaging and effective is to build online communities and groups for people to come together and learn/work with a shared vision. Giving a balanced online + real world assignments and setting clear learning outcome goals is definitely the first step to get started.

Depois de alguns anos criando programas online e dando aulas pensei no seguinte para identificar e comunicar os objetivos e expectativas para o ensino a distancia: - Envolver os alunos interessados no processo de planejamento para que os objetivos e expectativas estejam alinhados com as necessidades e prioridades deles. - Usar uma linguagem clara e coerente de forma que nos certifiquemos que esses objetivos e expectativas sejam facilmente compreensíveis por todos os envolvidos. - Comunicar-se de forma consistente e frequente. Acredito que seja interessante a princípio criar um processo formal de envolvimento para ajudar os alunos a terem oportunidades regulares de participar do processo de ensino a distancia. Outro ponto seria usar alguns tipos de canais de comunica??o para que todos tenham acesso às informa??es de que precisam, independentemente de suas preferências de comunica??o. Ser transparente e honesto sobre os planos e objetivos para o ensino a distancia e também ser receptivo ao feedback. Ouvir as partes interessadas é essencial para melhorar o ensino.

Clear and Transparent… We must teach how to use expected technology and create avenues for parents to have access to assistance when needed. Often we roll out something new and expect everyone to adapt and meet the expectations. First we must make it clear what our goals and expectations are and then teach all stakeholders the proper way to use all resources necessary for success.
