1 Types of hazards

The final step is to learn from the hazards and the controls, and improve them continuously. You can use various sources and tools, such as incident reports, near-miss reports, audits, inspections, or surveys, to collect and analyze data and information about the hazards and the controls, and identify gaps, weaknesses, or opportunities for improvement. You should also share the lessons learned and best practices with your workers, contractors, and stakeholders, and implement corrective and preventive actions in a timely and effective manner.
