Trust the people around you know their discipline. Know the chain of command and respect it. Don't go over people's heads or behind people's backs if you have an issue; there is probably a reason something is the way it is and the costume designer can probably give you a more satisfactory answer to a costume issue than the stage manager, for example. If the person in charge of an aspect of the production says something is impossible (due to time, budget, or whatever) don't ask them to "make it happen." Ex: if you ordered a bunch of uniforms and 2 days before opening an actor decides they want to be wearing a uniform too; the costumers can't make a perfect copy of something they bought in 2 days.

5 Learn from the feedback

The fifth step to resolving any conflict is to learn from the feedback. This means accepting the criticism, praise, or suggestions that you receive from others, and using them to improve your performance, skills, or relationships.
