Here are few ways I have hired fun-tastic team mates, thanks to social media. 1. Plan your requirement early. Easier said than done. 2. Start looking for potential candidates who share "proof of work". 3. "Professionally" connect with such talented folks and keep the network "On". 4. When its time, see if they are open to join the Adventure. By this time, ill be well aware of the work they do. 5. From here on, its mostly about making sure few things are aligned at both ends. Everything said, if used well, the social media platforms are a great way to showcase skills.

Here is my advise for those who are trying to get into a job, especially freshers: 1. Figure out a skillset (Coding, Design, Testing, UX etc..) 2. Learn at least one hour every day and practice it. 3. Start posting your learning daily (or almost) on platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, Medium or Hashnode. Start showcasing your learning. 4. Share things which you felt easy, which you struggled, which you are unable to wrap your head around. 5. Feel free to ask "Help" from other experts in the respective Social Media. This is something which is freely available and not a lot of folks make use of this. 6. Get creative & keep improving writing. This is the best way to improve overall communication.

Before attempting to be “authentic and transparent,” your leadership team needs to put in the work to define and execute its identity. Many organizations struggle to live their desired culture- the one that is shared during talent recruitment. Take a moment and evaluate if the leadership team has developed the following: Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategy. Has everyone bought in, and do these assets guide decision-making? Next, have you put thought into your orgs climate? Is it where you want to be? What types of candidates are you recruiting, and do they fit into the climate? There is a matrix from Burton (Org Design expert) that defines climate based on the org's intersections of tension and readiness to change. Great to review.

Anyone can earn money but earning respect is not everyone's cup of coffee.. In my experience, I've seen all kinda of folks. Folks who have done it all and not even on social media or have very less followers and the the other set of "Top Influencers" who does not know a lot but are pretty good at sharing knowledge of "others". All it takes is one single meeting to identify who is who :). You start off by Quoting "Fake it till you make it" but being authentic and saying "I do not know" is something that resonates fine with a lot of people (as long as you go ahead and do something about it soon). A lot of fluff happens on social media, so choose your following carefully and there is no dearth of genuine folks online.
