The first thing any team manager should do to keep the team motivated is to have a clear vision. Robotics is an evolving field with continuous scope for improvement. Keep your team open to sharing new ideas, and always keep a goal higher than required. Make a small improvement-focused team if necessary. Even if you don't achieve the new higher goal, the team will learn and find a way to do things that they haven't thought of previously. Try to understand their viewpoint and support their ideas. It will motivate them to think more out of the box and help your team grow.

This is super important, especially for projects in robotics and AI, where there are so many cool things you could add. Setting short-term and long-term goals helps figure out how smart your product needs to be. Planning this way makes sure you know where you're going and don't get lost in all the ideas.
