The SPRINT Robotics Collaborative launched in 2015 was one way of starting the collaboration process. Since then it has grown significantly sponsored multiple events across the globe and allowed those needing robotic solutions to interact and develop with those providing robotic solutions. Talking, sharinga and working together grows us as individuals and the industry. It allows us to see what others have and how we may want to develop along a synergistic or different pathway. The ore we share and collaborate the more we grow as an industry as companies and as individuals.

Developing soft skills is extremely important for working in robotics. Robotics is a diverse industry that will require you to collaborate with many different people. Developing soft skills, like developing technical skills, takes time to learn and practice. There are plenty of great books on this. I would recommend How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie as a starting point.
