One of the essential skills for managers to acquire would be risk management or, as I call it, navigating between storm and calm sea. A business is bound up with elements beyond our control and will often take us outside our comfort zone. It’s therefore more efficient to learn to read and evaluate risk rather than trying to control it. We also need to accept that risk was what attract most entrepreneurs in the first place , so why the sudden change into the illusion of eternal prosperity ?
