For those of you that follow the DISC personality profile I have some suggestions. For task-oriented types, (Ds and Cs) make use of a task management system like Trello or ToDoIst. Additionally, make sure of task management with your CRM. Make a list of minimum-necessary tasks and do those daily. For Is and Ss, you're going to need to leave the house and be around people, so same prescription as above, but time block it. Also consider waking up much earlier and going to bed much earlier like me. I get up and 4am and devote 5am-9am each morning to Introvert work (working tasks, CRM work, etc.). Once 9am hits I go into people mode for the remainder of the day until around 2pm, after which I am done for the day.
Generally, low motivation comes from either too small goals, or more often (but a bit subtle) lack of clarity to one's calling. The best way to get a good understanding on what your calling is would be to ask (a) what am I good at and (b) what breaks my heart / really bothers me if not taken care of. The answers to these two questions are outstanding clues what callings might be yours. Once you really "get" what is your calling, motivation - whether remote or at any location - is rarely an issue.
Working remotely doesn't necessarily mean that you have to work alone, in your basement, disconnected from the people you serve. Pick at least one day a week to bring your laptop to a coffeeshop or public place and set up for the day. Bring a stack of business cards. Bring an index card and write on it "free coffee for anyone with real estate questions" and just set it out on the table. Turn your remote working days into a lead development opportunity.
