Yes it's a better option to let participants come to waiting room and then we admit them to join meeting.We use this practice as well.Because it keeps your meetings more confidential and safe.

This should be the number 1 . Since most of the security measures and best practice already built into zoom. 80% of the security issues is user error and their basic security measures. A few like … Sharing email and meeting links via screen shot in public networks . Setup meeting with no password Setup public meeting with no signups and invite Leaving their zoom session unattended in public spaces.
