How can flipped classroom evaluation be made fair for all students?
Flipped classroom is a popular pedagogical approach that reverses the traditional order of instruction and homework. Instead of lecturing in class and assigning exercises for home, teachers provide students with pre-recorded videos, readings, or other materials to study before class, and use the class time for interactive activities, discussions, or problem-solving. Flipped classroom has many potential benefits, such as enhancing student engagement, autonomy, and collaboration, as well as allowing teachers to personalize learning and provide immediate feedback. However, flipped classroom also poses some challenges, especially when it comes to evaluation. How can teachers assess students' learning outcomes in a fair and meaningful way, without compromising the principles and practices of flipped classroom? In this article, we will explore some strategies and tips to help you design and implement flipped classroom evaluation that works for all students.
