How can evidence-based practice be integrated into nursing education?
Evidence-based practice (EBP) is the use of current and relevant research findings to inform clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes. EBP is essential for nurses to provide high-quality, safe, and effective care in a complex and dynamic health care system. However, many nurses face barriers to implementing EBP in their practice, such as lack of time, resources, skills, and support. Therefore, it is crucial to integrate EBP into nursing education, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, to prepare nurses to be competent and confident in using EBP.
