In order to establish indicators you need first to develop a clear "Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanism" within your organization, this would help to identify what are the challenges faced by the different implementation phases of your plan towards the achievement of your goals, you might need to develop a flexible work plan that allows diversity or transformation in case of difficulties or failure in achieving one of the goals.

Set clear ESG objectives, then develop a detailed action plan and policies outlining steps, resources, and responsibilities. Establish indicators and targets for ongoing monitoring. Ensure senior management and the board endorse and communicate the plan, fostering organization-wide commitment to ESG integration.

Designing a roadmap must necessarily include the indicators or KPIs that will allow you to know whether or not you are achieving your objectives, as well as execution times, people responsible and necessary resources.
