Additionally ,coordination with the meteorological service provider will go along way in aiding ATC make certain key and timely decisions.

Unlike erstwhile days (,meaning ten years ago) the systems in the Airports are using the latest Technology. For example 15 years back INSTRUMENT LANDING SYTEMS (ILS) WERE NOT IN VOGUE. THE SYSTEMS PRESENTLY USED ARE THE LATEST INSTRUMENTS TO ADVISE AND UPDATE THE PILOT ABOUT THE WEATHER REPORTS TILL THEY LAND USING ILS. HOWEVER, IF THE TOWER ADVISE THAT THE WEATHER IS TOO BAD THE PILOT WILL BE ADVISED to go around or to divert to the nearest Airport where the WEATHER is clear to land.
