To become an AI consultant you dont only need to understand AI, you have to be able to understand how it can affect business processes, how it can be implemented at key points in various processes and be able to show real world working examples using various systems involved in business processes. A Powerpoint presentation with animations doesn’t cut it anymore. You have to be able to sit in front of someone and build them a prototype so they can feel AI in their process. I know that I can build a full end to end chat interface connecting systems like Salesforce, hubspot and any number of other 3rd party API based systems together with AI in “a few clicks” with consistent responses that match a companies corporate language.
