Yes, I do agree. Also, it's totally fine to request for the question/ condition to be repeated in case you don't get it the first time. Or if it has certain terms that are beyond your understanding. Request an explanation or description of the ambiguous term mentioned. If the employer/ potential employer is unable to do so, then it's fine to excuse yourself, take a few seconds and look up the internet for help. There's no shame in admitting that you don't understand what's being told. Take your time, learn and get back. Better safe than sorry.
