1 Robots and cobots

Both types of robots are increasingly used in food manufacturing to handle repetitive, heavy, or hazardous tasks, such as picking, sorting, slicing, packing, palletizing, and loading. Robots and cobots can improve productivity, accuracy, hygiene, and worker safety, as well as reduce labor costs and waste. However, they also require significant investment, maintenance, and training, and may pose ethical and social issues, such as job displacement and human-robot interaction.

Hi John, fully agree its about time major OEM's looked at the products they produce and think about the onward benefits of value add, speed and efficiency. I was surprised to visit this years PPMA show and see the same machines on show that have been the same for years. Lets see more robots, new tech and crowds around the stands exampling something different!

The benefits of introduction robotics within a manufacturing facility, increases productivity and quality. The automation allows staff to be removed from mondain and repetitive tasks allowing them to be upskilled in the operation/programming of the installed equipment. The automation will also allow the company embracing the technology to become more competitive, allowing them to grow re invest and increase staffing levels in all aspects of the business. The common statement from company owners who fear change is "..we've always done it this way there's no need to change.." these companies and their owners stagnate and eventually will loose the competitive edge, don't be that company owner embrace the new industrial automation revolution.
