There is a thing called imposter syndrome which does not allow to reflect the true potential of human being especially the one who is suffering from it. The rapid pace at which technology is progressing, it is necessary to spread your voice in order to showcase your talent. I recently have witnessed in this very platform of LinkedIn that many young and energetic tech entrepreneurs and influencers successfully shared their concepts and understanding to their connections. Even if the purpose is to gain views and increase followers, they are doing the right thing by creating content that are actually beneficial and that is why they are earning this acknowledgement. Taking stand to share knowledge in an assertive manner is vital at present ??

Na minha experiência, ajuda mais o time e progride mais na carreira de inova??o a pessoa que consegue fazer as melhores perguntas. S?o as perguntas que movem a pesquisa e o desenvolvimento, n?o as respostas. Ou?a muito, entenda contextos, fa?a exercícios nas varia??es de contextos possíveis e pergunte. Expanda o círculo de comunica??o sempre envolvendo clientes, n?o apenas o seu time. Ouvir a voz do cliente e falar o idioma dele irá destravar sempre oportunidades ocultas, que se bem aproveitadas, trar?o resultados que poder?o ajudar a destacar o seu progresso na carreira.

Communication per-se is not enough. You should adapt your communication style to your audience. Sometimes you will need to prove your perspective analitically, with numbers and metrics. Sometimes you will have to share vision and strategy. And sometimes a smile and a little carizma will do the trick ??

Assertiveness allows you to express your ideas, concerns, and needs clearly and confidently, fostering better communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders in the innovation process.

Quando se está navegando no mundo de inova??o, a incerteza está com você e com o time todos os dias. As pessoas de forma geral n?o lidam bem com incertezas. O líder irá despontar à medida que conseguir reduzir as incertezas, seja pela análise minuciosa do que vem pela frente, seja pela compreens?o profunda daquilo que realmente irá gerar valor para o cliente. Dessa forma, poderá demonstrar confian?a com propriedade a ponto de a equipe percebê-lo realmente como diferencial para o time.

Na minha experiência percebo que a assertividade é, em muitos momentos, supervalorizada. Assertividade parece muito mais necessária quando falamos de inova??o de caráter puramente incremental, onde a incerteza é muito menor. Em projetos de inova??o radical ou disruptiva, que s?o os projetos que considero efetivamente inova??o, você vai precisar se posicionar, vai precisar ser um pouco mais incisivo no argumento para convencer, vai precisar de mais dose de risco, vai ter muito mais incerteza com o que tratar. Neste cenário a assertividade terá um papel secundário, na minha opini?o. O papel principal ficará para o potencial de empreendedorismo, motiva??o, intensidade e orienta??o para fazer acontecer.

In your career, there will be situations where organizations can't tell the difference between "shiny object" i.e., sounds good & looks good but has no real value versus "real innovation" that has immense value. During those times, it is important to be assertive by challenging all assumptions, having deeper conversations and focusing on value to the organization.
