Reflecting on my 9+ years in the IT industry, I recall a pivotal moment early in my career. I was always engrossed in solving complex problems, often losing track of time while coding. This passion for problem-solving started in childhood, where I loved puzzles and strategy games. During a period of deep reflection, I connected these dots. We are always wired to think of a career to make money, but when we do some introspection then we can actually think about our interests and what we actually like to do. Very often it’s buried deep in our subconscious mind and takes some effort to think about what we really enjoy and like or liked doing.

By engaging in different activities we will be able to understand what we are passionate about. We could try new courses or workshops totally unrelated what our career is at the moment. During a particular creative break in my life, I recall a friend telling me to meet 5 people from different backgrounds. I did and it helped me change my perspective on a lot of things around me. It’s the same with different workshops and classes.
