Always remember that you're working on two fronts - one is technical, the other one is social. In 99.99%, those two worlds clash and sometimes a problem from one front can cause issues on another one - maybe you had a miscommunication, a misunderstanding, maybe the problem statement didn't get the point across, maybe your solution is too complex and it doesn't need to be... that's where you need to trace your steps back and see your thought process. What helped me grow is the way we held our team bi-weekly meetings - we'd open up a ticket from any of the team member and we'd discuss the problem that is described in said ticket. That was not used as means of punishing somebody, or putting them to shame - on the contrary, it'd be an open forum for all of us to contribute and brainstorm ideas and solutions. I know this sounds unsolicited, but it was a method we implemented and agreed upon as a team, so we all loved it because we treated it more like a game, rather than a platform for judgment of somebody's work.

For the negative criticism - think and work to prove the point with result and data about what is right. Gradually that will solve the problem and lead towards constructive criticism.
