In a fast-paced media production environment, effective organization and time management are critical. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, setting realistic deadlines for each phase. Tools like task lists and project management apps help track activities and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Before I ever go on a shoot, I always have a preproduction meeting. Whether it is a small project or a big project, I always have some sort of meeting where we can discuss they why. Understanding the why before you go any shoot gives you the foundation you need to start developing the story. Once the story has been established, then we can be developing our shot list and breakdown of a shoot. The more work you can do on the front in, the less reshoots and fixes you will have to add on the back end.

Staying organized is huge. One of the most important person on set outside of the director is your script supervisor, even on a corporate shoot. The more notes on takes and setups you have going into post, the better the story will be.
