While proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is beneficial, the key is demonstrating your commitment to sustainability and your ability to contribute to meaningful projects. This could be done by joining student-led volunteering clubs. In addition to social causes, being a part of them also demonstrates teamwork and leadership. Also, it isn't necessary that all projects should be undertaken in offline mode. Building something like an online newsletter that urges the audience/community to act for a particular noble cause can also go a long way. In addition, one could engage in providing mentoring to marginalized communities to ignite their innovative ideas.

The subject of social engineering is more than any theory .The scenario is completely different on ground as it always seems .The success of a business organization specially the larger ones depends on successful social engineering. Thus more than qualification the passion for CSR and development must be reflected in CV. The CV must highlights strong back up to support reasons for choosing the field. CSR must create a win win situation for both Company and Community .This also draws necessities for understanding the business acumen.
