Considero que para destacar en un trabajo en el sector de la construcción se debe estar bien preparado, el componente teórico, actualización y cumplimiento normativo es indispensable, además que, la actualización en softwares de dise?o, seguimiento y construcción es un plus para cualquier candidato. Además de esto, se debe considerar habilidades de gestión y gerenciamiento de proyectos, pues en proyectos constructivos no se ve únicamente la parte técnica. Todo esto se puede ordenar en un CV claro, conciso y robusto, haciendo énfasis en los proyectos en los que se ha estado a cargo (mejor si se pueden ser validados) y las funcione que se ha desempe?ado en cada uno de los proyectos, con sus respectivos alcances.

With my experience of working in the construction field, the importance of always improving your skill set is paramount. But "skills" does not just entail swinging a hammer. Soft skills like cooperation, innovation, and initiative are just as crucial for standing out. Putting yourself in the right situations of learning technical and soft skills will demonstrate you have the capability to perform and adapt. Hands-on construction expertise will get your foot in the door, but demonstrating soft skills will help you shine.

I can honestly say that a well-crafted resume has been a crucial component in my career. It does a few things it helps keep your employment history in order for you so when you're searching for that next great company, you're efficient in that search. It helps showcase your skills and accomplishments both professionally and personally. The biggest advice I can give here is when you're building your resume, don't be afraid to use a professional to write it for you. It can be the difference in working in the mailroom or sitting on the Board of Directors.

Networking is key to meeting people in construction, and it can take you far. Construction is a people industry, and so by just networking alone, you will be ahead of the curve. Go around the room and introduce yourself, but don’t start draining people with what you do, listen to what they do, and work out which industry you’d like to get involved with. One thing I have found helpful for successfully completing and interview is to always expect the worst. Some people like to play with safety but myself I follow every safety protocol to a T Because at the end of the day we have these rules and policies because it’s happened before and it’s ultimately written in blood unfortunately so don’t make the mistakes that have already been made and follow safety rules and policies

Safety is priority or should be, in todays industry safety standards are at their highest, a company that doesn't have a clearly defined safety program is probably not worth working for. If they don't have a strong safety program, I believe they wouldn't hesitate to put your health at risk to make that dollar.
