Entre las metodologías de evaluación de riesgos, una que me ha servido es la segmentación por tipo de stakeholders, de esta manera se puede ordenar de una manera sistemática y metodológica el estudio de riesgos. Considerando clientes, proveedores, comunidades del área de influencia, autoridades, academia, accionistas, colaboradores, medios/prensa (tradicional y digital), gremios y asociaciones, entorno/medio ambiente y entes reguladores (normativa legal y fiscal); entre otras, son ejemplos de la segmentación. Posteriormente puede Sub-segmentarse entre riesgos internos y/o externos, o pueden definirse de otra manera como debilidades y/o amenazas. Considerado cada una de estas, luego una análisis de magnitud de impacto y probabilidad.

No solo basta cumplir con las normas locales (del país donde se realiza el proyecto), en casos de multinacionales, la normativa corporativa interna puede ser más exigente porque busca cumplir con requerimientos de los shareholders o de los lugares de cotización de la matriz.
