In my experience when I come to work in a bad mood it affects my performance in all aspects the way I talk on the phone, how I interact with my team and also how I talk to clients. There are simple exercises you can do just after waking up to set yourself up for a positive day. For example start a positvity journal and write down 3 words that make you feel good every morning. Exercise before going to work to get your endorphines going or do something nice for someone else. The act of giving spreads positivity like nothing else. Always remember that staying positive is not a feeling (passive) but and active task that we need to work on every day.
