Remember that a 360° feedback is the most powerful insight we might have on our true impact on everybody else. Our boss is one of our key stakeholders so if we carefully listen to our teammates, customers, vendors, or partners why shouldn't we do the same with him or her. Bosses come with a variety of personalities but taking the best out of each of the members of their team is totally aligned with their own interests. So let's give them a chance for the good reasons. If any criticism, constructive or not, crashes with our resistance, we're likely to make our boss, and anybody else by the way, shy of criticizing us, albeit not of having and opinion on our performance, attitude, behaviour, etc. So we'll miss a great opportunity to improve.
