We use data as well as personal interactions to identify skills gaps in our people. Good use of data can help you identify whether it's a company wide or individual issue as well. We then develop in house, bespoke training designed to fill that gap which we also make available to all our staff as self learning CPD modules. We find this to be both effective and motivating. Of course we lean on external experts when we need to for training. In person is best for us.

There are numerous training programs available to enhance your team's skills, but many contain unengaging content hastily created to fulfill course requirements. Opt for in-person training over online alternatives. Although this means your team will be off the road for a day, the value of 8 hours of one-on-one training is immeasurable and will leave a lasting impact. Having attended hundreds of courses myself, the most memorable and effective ones have always been those conducted in person. I recommend reaching out to a sales trainer to explore the in-person courses they can offer your team.

Cependant, certaines formations, notamment pour les métiers de chantier, nécessitent des expériences pratiques sur site. De plus, pour certains, la formation en ligne n'est pas adaptée et ne remplace pas l'efficacité d'une formation en présentiel avec un intervenant disponible physiquement. Ainsi, le mode d'apprentissage dépend donc du type de métier recherché et du profil de l'apprenant.
