You can both view, update progress & give feedback in real time. Record your progress - Use video to record your students technique, playback & provide feedback. Make workbooks & training material available online for purchase or free download. Apps like teachable or dropbox are great.

I fing that vocal sessions are more fluent if I don't have pay attention in playing the piano or guitar for the singer. I prefer using track, usually recorded or coded by my self, so I am able to be present for the singer at all times. And easily change the pitch or the tempo - specially if rehearsing complicated riffs for example - of the track if needed. Here technology gives huge advantage.

A mí me ha resultado útil no solamente acudir a una formación "final" que muchas veces además es bastante concreta. Aunque pareciera que ganamos tiempo, en realidad nos ponemos en manos de lo mucho o poco que nos quieran contar... That’s where you shine. So it is worth your time to learn to hear what you see and bend and flow in your own time and style. Don’t let others dominate your style by avoiding technology. Learn to integrate tech as your teacher.

It is important to first understand what your goal is. What is the end goal. Using technology with allow you to progress faster but remember you have to give yourself time to understand how these tools work before you can implement these and help others use the tools.
