Creating a "Holistic" environment allows for growth that transcends traditional boundaries, encouraging true innovation to flourish.

Staying curious is a great start, but if you want to truly encourage your team to be more innovating, you can harness your curiosity by coaching through asking questions. Most people think that coaching is about getting answers and advice from someone who knows better, but this is really the lowest form of coaching. By asking open-ended questions, driving curiosity and encouraging your teams to critically think for themselves and trust that they can come up with innovative answers requires a confident leader who is willing to not provide all the answers all the time.

Implement regular "innovation fusion" sessions. Bring together diverse talents from across your organization & create a space where hierarchies dissolve & ideas flow freely. The key is to shake things up. Use techniques like perspective-shifting or constraint removal to break mental patterns. I've seen CEOs have lightbulb moments when viewing challenges through a junior developer's eyes. Rotate leadership of these sessions. It not only uncovers hidden talent but also reinforces that innovation is everyone's responsibility. Most crucially, ensure there's a clear path from ideation to implementation. The fastest way to kill creativity is to let great ideas gather dust. Your next breakthrough could come from the most unexpected collaboration.
