What certifications do the job listings include? 2) Seek out people you know or people on LinkedIn with the cert you are considering and reach out to them to find out what they learned, what the perception in the market is, and if they'd get it again. 3) It's OK, even great to get a credential simply for what you learn. Just be aware that's the reason before you open your wallet.
