We can all have noise that comes in from the left, often distracting us from our strategic goals but we should consider if any of that helps us achieve our objectives or not. If it doesn't you can put it in a bucket of less important tasks. You could consider the Get it Done (GIT) methodology or the 2 minute rule method too on ideas on where to start.
