I was once contacted to help another tech with an issue. I immediately knew that the problem was related to DNS. The tech had spent quite a lot of time on the issue and had become extremely frustrated. I explained the issue to the tech and let him know that it is often the small things we miss. Understanding that not everyone thinks the same as you can help you with colleagues and end users. The more patience you have the better the outcome.
